Happy World Oceans Day!

Indonesia targets blue economic growth through sustainable fishery commodity yields. This growth was realized through the increase in the value of fishery exports and the trade balance in the fishery sector which experienced a surplus of USD 4.15 billion.

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) through the Directorate General of Capture Fisheries (DJPT) will implement a new era of fisheries management in 2022 to realize a blue economy.

Measurable fishing is one of the efforts made by the KKP so that the economy and ecology can run in balance. The blue economy is also marked by the increased absorption of KUR funds in the fisheries sector.

Happy World Oceans Day!
Let’s take care of our oceans together, for the future of the nation.
